One thing I didn’t expect to find in Edmonton? A really good bowl of Vietnamese pho!
I recently tried Pho Hoan Palace, and their Supreme Noodle Soup was definitely the star of the meal. ![]()
The broth was savoury and comforting, with plenty of beef, rice noodles, onions, green onions, and cilantro. I especially enjoyed the variety of cuts, including beef and tripe, which gave every bite a different texture.
And the serving is huge! ![]()
This was the smaller bowl, but it was still more than enough for a satisfying meal. If you’re ordering several dishes for the table, it’s also good for sharing.
We also tried their fresh rolls with shrimp and vegetables. Light, fresh, and the perfect companion to a hot bowl of pho. ![]()
But it wasn’t just the food that stood out. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
Sometimes, one of the best parts of exploring a city is discovering little pieces of another culture through food.
